About the Recipe

This zesty twist on overnight oats promises a fresh and satisfying breakfast every time. Easy to prep and chill, and perfect for on-the-go!

Ingredients

  • 60g rolled oats 

  • 25g chia seeds 

  • 200ml semi-skimmed milk 

  • 150g natural low fat yogurt 

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract 

  • Zest of 1 lemon 

  • 160g blueberries (fresh or frozen) 

  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey 

  • 1 small banana, sliced, (optional) 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients together. Spoon into two individual airtight jars or containers with lids. 

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, then serve. Add some sliced bananas as a topping, if you wish.
